Upon my son's request, I have
published an eBook "NESHOOR: Resurrection from the tombs of ICUs"
last month (June 2015). It is a true story of a traffic accident that occurred
to my son Ali Al Saadi, who entered into a coma from which he almost did not
come out.
Here is a synopsis:
When you receive news about your
son's accident, and the injury is described as serious, it is crippling. Life
stops suddenly. A shock changes your life path and mobilizes all your resources
to respond to and mitigate this disaster. My son Ali Al Saadi suffered a
traffic accident that nearly killed him.
In this story and at my son's
behest to document it as a lesson, I tell the harsh details of our experience
as family members, relatives, and friends, and the lessons learned that will
undoubtedly benefit the reader, through Ali's therapeutic journey that took
almost a year. We hope that it will be a lesson to avoid other sorrows, God
willing. We also hope that the discussion and the information in this story
will benefit anyone interested in this topic.
For those who suffered the loss of
the innocent lives of their loved ones who left them due to tragic traffic
accidents, we hope that they find in this book sympathy and condolences and the
means to become advocates for traffic safety.
The English eBook can be found
through www.neshoor.com
The Arabic version is yet to come
soon.
